Thoughtful Psychiatry.

Personalized Care.

Expert mental health care designed around you and your goals.

Our Services

City Wide Psychiatry provides psychiatric medication management and brief therapy using a collaborative, individualized approach. Your treatment goes beyond symptom management. We focus on understanding you as a whole person, so your care is thoughtful, personalized, and aligned with your needs.

  • Your first visit is a 60 to 90-minute intake session, giving us the time to truly get to know you—not just your symptoms. By understanding your history, experiences, and goals, we can create a more thoughtful and personalized plan from the very start.

  • We provide thoughtful, evidence-based medication management tailored to your individual needs. Treatment decisions are made collaboratively, with careful attention to effectiveness, side effects, and your overall well-being.

  • We incorporate brief psychotherapy into medication management visits to support overall mental health and treatment outcomes. This may include focused discussions on lifestyle changes, practical behavioral strategies, and supportive, solution-oriented interventions tailored to current concerns. These therapeutic elements are designed to complement medical treatment and provide patients with tools they can apply in their daily lives.

  • We provide both in-person and telehealth appointments for your convenience. This flexibility allows you to choose the format that best fits your schedule, comfort, and lifestyle while maintaining continuity of care.

*Please note- you must be able to attest that you are in the state of Kansas during your telehealth appointments

  • GeneSight testing is available if you are interested in learning how your genetics may influence your response to certain medications. This option can be reviewed during your appointment, and testing may be ordered when clinically appropriate to help inform treatment decisions.

Meet the Provider

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 10 years of nursing experience, dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized mental health care. I diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including anxiety and mood disorders, sleep concerns, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and autism.

Born and raised in the Kansas City area and a graduate of the University of Missouri, I founded City Wide Psychiatry to serve the community that has shaped me. With deep roots across many parts of the city, I am committed to delivering accessible, high-quality mental health care to individuals and families throughout the region.

I take a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care, with an emphasis on truly understanding each person. This allows treatment decisions to reflect your needs, goals, and overall well-being. I work with patients ages 5 through 75 and am passionate about supporting individuals with anxiety and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Outside of my clinical work, I value time spent with family and friends, caring for my dogs and cats, exploring new places through travel, and cooking.

  • City Wide Psychiatry primarily provides medication management services, which are often combined with brief supportive therapy and behavioral strategies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)-based techniques, coping skills, and supportive listening. While PMHNPs are trained to provide therapeutic support as part of psychiatric care, we do not offer ongoing weekly psychotherapy services in the same capacity as a licensed therapist or counselor. If more intensive or specialized therapy is needed, we are happy to provide referrals and collaborate with your therapist as part of your care team.

  • City Wide Psychiatry does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988 for immediate support.

  • The patient portal is the best way to communicate between appointments, either through Simple Practive or Headway. Portal messages are reviewed regularly, and responses are typically provided within 1–2 business days. Please note that portal messaging should not be used for urgent or emergency concerns.
